I decided that I couldn't wait until kick-offs to voice my thoughts....I forget too much.
SO, from the beginning, Anoop. Yeah, not so much for me. I agreed with the judges, and I think he deserves the bottom three.
Megan Joy.........oh, I had such high hopes! Disappointed. I think she deserves bottom three also.
Danny. Well, the judges loved him! And I guess I love Rascal Flatts too much, 'cause I thought he struggled.
Allison I think started out well, and then it went downhill. But still, she is GOOD, and I don't think she deserves bottom three by any means.
Scott was SO GOOD! Billy Joel, only the piano, SMART choice. I thought it went very well.
I feel sad for Matt. I didn't like it either, and I agreed with most of the judges comments. I think he's in danger.
Lil, I also agreed with the judges about. Hated the song choice, but I'm also NOT a Celine Dion fan.....ugh, I think I have an allergy, I start twitching just thinking about it.
Adam ROCKED THE HOUSE!!! My affections are divided, but overall, he's still my American Idol (did you like the addition to my sidebar?).
Kris I also LOVED. Great song, and great arrangement. In fact, any arrangements involving strings are going to win me over.....
So, I think the bottom three will be Anoop, Megan and either Matt or Lil.

You're funny. I mostly agree. I definitely agree with your bottom three predictions. I didn't think Danny struggled though....and I too love Rascal Flatts. But then I love Danny, too. Adam....the kid has an amazing voice. That's a given. But a the song tonight isn't one I'd pay to download. In fact not many of his are ones I'd pay to download. So perhaps it's just his style and song choices that aren't for me...but I can definitely not argue that he has a killer voice and amazing showmanship. He'll most likely sail through to the finale. Loved Kris as well....he's quickly becoming another favorite.
I was FINALLY able to watch American Idol again tonight and I LOVED the last dude (sorry, I can't remember his name). I only got to see his and Adam's performances, but it looked like they were the best anyway.
I'm excited that we share Idol enthusiasm albeit differing opinions.
Anoop-should be an adult contemporary artist-not R&B-bad song choice. Bottom 3.
Megan-I liked-I'd listen to the song again and again. But I know she has a very narrow market and that not all people are going to dig her.
Danny-liked the emotional connection to the song, they should have knocked it down a step to fit his range better.
Allison-I was totally distracted by her bad hair and bad outfit, and was a little embarassed for her...I still think she is talented...if I was listening...
Scott-not my thing, I'm feeling bottom 3.
Matt-think he should be an R&B artist, imagine him singing Justin Timberlake's "What goes around", he just isn't the type of artist he likes to listen to, man that must be frustrating.
Lil'-SO BAD-Shouting, flat, nasal, ick. Please bottom 3. Sorry to her babies.
Adam-Cheeseball. If Saturday Night Live was to spoof Adam Lambert this is what I would expect. Liked his previous work-this felt like "indulgent nonsense".
Kris-Very good, very good.
Kris is still my man! The guy has such a talent for taking a song, arranging it beautifully, making it his own, and singing it awesomely! (yeah, I know that's not a word but it's all that comes to mind!) I like Danny but I didn't like his song this week...it just bothered me and I expected the judges to say it wasn't good but maybe I'm wrong? It sounded flat to me. Lil was a big disappointment...she needs to figure out how to be contemporary. Adam scared me as usual. I can appreciate his artistry but it's not my cup of tea. Megan is awful. Scott is talented but I don't see him as an American Idol. The others...not so much. There's my take!
So I missed the whole audition process, but I still have a hard time believing that they actually let Megan go past the first round. Was she actually good at some point, or is it some elaborate April Fool's joke they are going to reveal tonight? She is terrible! I think I would rather watch Sanjaya. I agree that Adam is awesome. He is my pick to win.
