We just got back last night from a roadtrip. Susie got out of the hospital last Friday with no restrictions on her activities, so we packed up and took off as planned Saturday morning. Landon had two job interviews, and we stopped to see our families along the way, so my Grandma Joyce, my little bro Sean (also known as Goober) and all of Landon's family could meet Susie Q for the first time.
It was exhausting.
But it was good. Even better to be back home.
And my house is a total wreck from a week with a child in the hospital, packing in a rush, a week away and just getting back.
And there is hardly anything to eat. I'm having leftover road trip snacks for lunch. Definitely not going to help with the losing o' baby weight.
Anyway. More details are forthcoming on Susie...things just got so crazy I never fulfilled the requests I got! Apologies.

So happy that you and Susie were able to make the road trip with Landon and Dallin...what a joy it is to have my daughter, son-in-law and my adorable grandchildren here...it went by too fast.

Can't wait for more pictures! When I read the title, I thought for a second that you were back in the hospital! Ah! So glad it was better than that.
