I have a nasty habit involving laundry. When it comes out of the dryer, it gets dumped into the laundry basket, and squished down as each load is added on top of it. Or it gets dumped out on the bed, where it stays until we are getting ready to sleep....and then often it is then just tossed back into the laundry basket to be dealt with "later." I'm in the middle of folding such laundry, and (obviously) procrastinating it by taking a "break."
Is there anyone in the WORLD who likes folding laundry?!
(In other news, happy birthday to my brother-in-law Brett!)

Can't say I love it, but I actually don't mind it...as long as I stay on top of it and stick to my regular laundry days. I'd take laundry over cleaning my house ANY day! Cleaning is my nemesis.
My husband and I both do that! But sometimes I enjoy folding it when I have nothing else to do. :)
I, too, hate folding laundry. We installed shelves and hang everything as it comes out. Then, I only have about one basket of underwear and socks to fold. People may laugh, but it works for me. I hang everything - even all the kid clothes.
I have issues actually putting it away once I fold it. I usually fold it on the kitchen table and then put it all back into the hampers which then tend to sit in my room for a couple of days until I finally put the clothes away. Which is stupid to do because the hamper is occupied with clean, folded laundry, and the dirty laundry gets tossed into a corner. You'd think I'd learn just to get it done and over with! :)
My Mom is always telling me she loves all aspects of laundry because it means she gets to sit and be lazy and watch movies while she folds and irons all the clothes.
Wish I had inherited that trait from her because I hate it. I have been known to go out and buy a new shirt or 2 just so I can put of doing laundry another day. But then again, I have mastered the art of being lazy.
You described my habit to a T Heather. Sorry I can't offer any sound advice.
I never put it away. It just stays in neat folded piles on everyone's dresser or in the basket until the next laundry day.
Ugh.
I actually really don't mind it. Maybe because I watch tv while I do it and that way I can justify watching my shows. :)
That's why I have a countertop over the washer/dryer...just fold there!
I do the same thing! Glad to know there are other laundry procrastinators out there. HeHe. Colin often gets dressed from the clothes draped over his crib rail... I probably need to stop that habit soon since he'll be pulling the clothes in with him! That could be a disaster....
