Landon did it. He finished his first half marathon. The Freedom Half Marathon was today in Salt Lake. The runners started up Emigration Canyon and ran down into Salt Lake, through the canyon, This is the Place State Park, Red Butte Gardens, the University of Utah campus, and Memory Grove before crossing the finish line at the State Capital.
Landon has gone running all of twice since he signed up to do it, so based on that, his goal was to finish in under two hours. His final time was 1:59:22. He made it! I'm really proud of him.

Jealous. All the good runs up here in Eugene seem to be on Sunday. I hope Landon is saving a little time for studying.
We are SO proud of Landon!!! But we felt his pain as we watched him try to get around that night.
