We are stumped. I have tons of boy names, but girl names? Not so much. I'm just not crazy about anything. So I could use some suggestions. AND just because I feel like it, I too will be offering a prize! Who would like to win my floating pearls necklace AND bracelet (a $20 value and by FAR the most popular item I ever sold)?

Makes a great gift, or keep it for yourself....either way, if I pick your suggestion as my favorite, I'll ship this little package your way.

Leave comments, please! Even if you have never commented on my blog, or you are just a friend of a friend of a friend (or family of a friend), or you've stumbled upon my blog randomly. (Though if I don't have your email, please leave it so I can contact you if I choose your suggestion.) I'll be taking comments for this until next Friday, I'll choose my winner over the weekend, and ship out your prize on Monday, the 30th. (Note: if more than one person suggests the same name and I choose that name, the prize will go to the first person to suggest it. Unless I'm feeling generous/have time to make another set.)
Thanks in advance for all the beautiful suggestions!
(Second Note: I will be picking my favorite from the suggestions, but that does not guarantee that come February, I will actually be naming our daughter that. We don't choose a name before the baby actually comes. We go to the hospital armed with a list, and decide after child makes appearance. If I actually name my daughter your suggestion, I'll send you a surprise prize in February!)

I have always loved Tiffany. If you don't like that then I have also liked Sarah.
You could always do one of those husband-wife combo names! Like Leather or Handon. Maybe Hanther?
Mikel (pronounced "Michael"). Or, as my father-in-law suggested to us, Sooner.
There's more where that came from, but let's see what else comes in.
I love the name Addison. Such a sweet little girl name, but also a great name as an adult.
I really liked Mia when we were choosing a name for Daphne.
Apparently we're opposites. I have zero boy names I like, but tons of girl names. I can't very well go sharing those with you now, can I though. I'm not sure yet which one we'll use. :) Though I can share with you the ones I've taken off my list. I still love them, but they don't work with my last name and/or someone I know has used them recently: Carlie, Ellie, Laney, Emily, Allison/Allie, Avery, Audrey.
I love the name Brielle, like Gabrielle, but without the Ga, just so your daughter doesn't end up getting called Gabby.
My email is maryeby0@gmail.com
ok, I remembered another one...
Charlotte or Charlie for short. So cute...and I can't use it because my cousin just had a baby and named her Charlotte. -And I would also have to get pregnant and have a girl too, which I don't see that happening any time soon ;)
Let's see, some of my favorites are: Abigail, Maggie, June, Anna, Emily, Isabelle, or Mabel and you could call her Mae for short.
Man, I need to have some more girls!
I love the name Olivia, then call her Livvy. Stan is a no go on that because his mom's name is Libby and that would be too confusing. Stan and I are set on the next 2 boy names, but girls, we have a hard time agreeing. Annie was pretty much the only name that we could agree on last year when she was born! By the way, I didn't know you made jewelry. I thought you only did the card/stationary stuff. Look at you talented lady!
I love traditional English names. Jane, Clara, Ruth, Elizabeth, Margaret (called Meg, of course), Abigail, Mary, Violet.
I've always liked the name Aerin too (sounds like Erin, but I think it looks prettier with an "A" at the beginning).
Before we had yang, I wanted to call her Chayne (sounds like shane)
Well I love Abigail so much that I'm using it, but I'd never NOT allow you to use it...I just highly recommend you don't! :) I'm thrilled to see that 2 other people like it too! Here are the other names I like but that got vetoed by Nat for varous reasons or just didn't top Abigail: Grace, Sarah, Katelyn, Olivia, Madelyn, Julianna, Emily, Lily, Megan, Caroline, Michaela/McKayla, Hannah. As you can see I really like traditional, classic names. Good luck!
I was thinking Eliza sounds cute with Dallin. Also, I still like how Eleanor Ipson sounds. But I think you should spell it Elinor because it's more literary like you :)
I'm SO glad you asked! I over collect favorite baby names and have to share.
Chloe-Verdant & blooming-Greek
Sophie Wise-Greek
Victoria-Victorious-Latin
Katherine-Greek-Pure
Ariana-Silver-Welsh
Elyse-Sweet, blissful-French
Elise-God’s Promise-Hebrew
Hannah-Grace, gracious-Hebrew
Lauren-Laurel-American
(I have to say I'm really feeling the Katherine Ipson & Lauren Ipson-just has a nice roll to it)
I don't know what I could add to these lists!!!
I love the name Jane. I've always loved that name.
Well, since we're having a boy I guess I can share some of my more favorite girl names ;) Some of them are a little strange but you never know...
Ainsley, Delaney, Margaret (Maggie), Isabel, Claire, Victoria, Elsie, Eloise, Elsa, Jocelyn, Sophronia (Sophie), Sylvia, Gretta, Genevieve, Helena, Daphne
I think I could list girl names all day... it's the boy names we struggle with. Good Luck!
I know, you don't know me, but maybe it's better that way. I have all boys, so I have plenty of girl names to spare. Here are my favorites:
Cadence
Maya or Maia (pronounced My-a)
Clarissa
Cosette
Kaya or Kaia (pronounced just like Maya only with a k sound)
Rachelle (sounds like Michelle)
Lily
Good luck. I would be so happy if someone got to use one of mine, so I can't seem to be able to. ;)

Hey, I think a cute name for a girl is Shaely. I hope all is going well. What a cute idea to gather a variety of girl names on blogger from others. I hope you find one you like and possibly use.
Andrea.
I have always liked the names Gianna, Camden, Addison, and Elle.
Lucy. So cute. Lucy Ipson. Yep.
Hope I have another girl so I can name her Lucy (Amelia Anne and Lucy Grace - that's the plan! Cute sister names:)). I too love the traditional, old fashion, literary names. I agree with other posters that Jane is a great name. Tiffany is a close third.
What about Charlotte? or Eleanor?
Check out this website...it's my favorite: http://www.babynamewizard.com/voyager#prefix=&ms=false&sw=f&exact=false
hmm....I think I've heard just about everything working in a nursery at the hospital. Some I like. Others I won't share - they are too odd. I had a mom the other day that told me she was naming her little girl La_a. That would be pronounced "La-Dash-Ah". Yes, she was spelling it with a "_" (dash mark) literally.....sad. Poor child.
These are some I like:
Ella, Eva, Emily, Maylie, Michelle, Maddison, Emmerson (Emmy for short), Ava, Delyse (like Elise), Jillian, Elsha, Lily, Kate, Joy, Ali, Elizabeth (Eli for short), Laela ("lay-la"), Malorie, Makenna, McKayla, Jeanette, Colette, Camie, Kelsy, Brookelyn, Janae, Carly, Meg, Tenae, Mckinley, Zoe, Lucy, Liv, Hannah, Hailey, Nella, Aubrie(Brie)...
That's all I can think of at the moment. ;) Good luck, Heather!
okay hopefully I am not to late but I like the old fashioned name Evelyn and call her Evie. Or I like my nieces name Addeline and they call her addie
Here are a few I love...
Cameron, Jordan, Aubry, Sydney, Reece, Shae (pronounced Shay) and that's all. She will be beautiful regardless.
My Faves (which require love and selflessness to share):
Tessa
Tori (my next girl name)
Ariel (despite the mermaid connotations)
Olivia
Elise (accent on the second syllable)
Eve (call her Evie ... SO cute)
I love you, Heath. I hope you find a name you love. And hey, can I just order one of those necklace/bracelet combos from you? I'm a pearl girl, and LOVE it. Do you have earrings too?
Oh, and can I just say I can' wait to see what little missy Ipson looks like because her brother is so darling? Okay.
Oh, and I love Ryan for a girl too, but Eldon thinks it's too risky because a baby could come out looking too ... well, masculine. :) But since I don't anticipate that problem with you guys I'd say you're safe.
I have many good names:
Ulga or Ursula or Bertha or Helga or Agnes or Betsy.
Actually I am a fan of Adelaide or Auriel.
nanette, kristian (I know it's a boys name but I think it would work for a girl), ella
Darn it! All my good ones have been taken. Maybe:
Claire
Jane Elizabeth
Savannah
Kesley
Sierra
Tessa
Can't wait to see the little girl!
Wow Heather there are sooo many good names to choose from already! I really like Cameron, Mina, Olivia, Ryan, and Vivian. Good luck choosing!
Hmm, so many good names already. My favorite... Samantha Joy.
You have a ton here, but I'll give you my list of favorites. Just know that I may also use some in the future. I like Claire, Caroline, Avery, Lyndee, Sadie, Ella, and Marlee. Good luck, and have fun shopping for pink.
I am a little untraditional! I like my name, Brenley (I have seen people spell it all sorts of ways, but I like mine the best.) I also really love the names Olive, Coco, Wilder, London, Attley, Berkley, but I can see you with a little girl names Scarlett.

honestly I don't know if the contest is still going on, but I wanted to help because I think naming a baby is one of the hardest things to do!
I was assigned a baby girl two nights ago named Aven. I thought it was cute and different if you like different.
Anywho....
