I know I have a lot of pregnant friends, so I thought I'd share this little tidbit.
With baby number two, I really really wanted to get a sling. I have a front carrier, but you can't use those with really small babies, and in my imaginings of being the mom of two, things go alot more smoothly (in public places especially) when I have two hands to deal with Dallin. So anyway.
I'd heard good things about the Peanut Shell sling, and Landon (who faithfully checks Brad's Deals every day) found a deal on them today. Walmart has dropped them down to $25. These slings are over $40 on Amazon, and $50 at Babies R Us. So if you're interested, here's the link to the Brad's Deals page. Shipping is $4.97, or if available, you can choose site-to-store and pick it up at your local Walmart for no charge. I love the one I chose...cute red pattern on one side, reversible to black on the other. Great for boy or girl! :)

Love it.
But kinda creepy... that is totally a doll in that sling... Do you think they are meant for REAL babies?? ( :
i KNOW!!! I thought it was totally creepy too....but there's actual babies in some of the OTHER pictures... :)
hey my mom makes those! She used the cutest amy butler fabric (of course it is amy butler, right!)and has it on her websit simplepleasures1@blogspot.com Hers are $35 so it sounds like you got a great deal!
I used a sling like this (it was a HotSlings-or something like that) and I loved it. I used it more when Bennett went through his needy stage at 9 months because I couldn't put him down for half a second without hearing from him that he wasn't happy. They are great. They are a little awkward to get used to using at first, but once you get it they are great.
I hope it works out for you as well as it did for me. :)
