Okay, so perhaps I'm a lee-tle late on the New Years' Resolutions bit. I've just been...behind the last couple months. In many various ways. And for many various reasons. But I'll spare you my stories and excuses.
And that brings me to the point: It's time for a Heather overhaul.
I've set goals in so many areas of my life.
I want to live cleaner, greener, simpler and more abundantly.
There are so many small goals and each of those goals is multi-faceted, so I won't give you all the gory details, but most of them lead to one all important non-renewable resource:
My Time.
Time really is the most valuable asset we have, and I am determined to stream-line my life to keep it organized and simple, providing me with more time for family, friends and personal replenishment than I had....well, previously to this.
I'll let you know how it goes. One way I'll be holding myself accountable will be my weekly report on this lovely blog.
And speaking of this blog, I'm starting fresh. Let's be honest, shall we? It's MY blog. I'm not the typical mommy blogger in that Dal doesn't star (or even figure into) in many posts. I'm
the star of this show, baby. And this blog will be conducted with my trademark honesty. 'Cause we all know honesty is the best policy. (I'll be sure to give you all my treatise on honesty later.) I'm really looking forward to blogging more frequently (though I've been doing pretty well lately) and I've got some GREAT plans for future posts. With that being said, I DID promise my sister (who assures me that though she just loves reading about my struggle to find balance with a snotty nose, she would also like to see what her nephew is up to) that I will keep the Ipson Family Photo Albums updated (which they're not).
And my business is going through its own little make-over. I do so much more than cards these days, the name no longer fit. So it was time for a new name, and a new site (I moved over to Etsy...see my business blog for more details).
Oh, and what better way to start a Life Revamp than chop off all your hair?

You are too funny....I don't really care who the star of your show is as long as I'm getting to read some kind of updates. (Though some occasional Dallin pics are nice!) Good luck with your goals!!
I too feel like I'm just getting on the ball making resolutions to do things a little differently. Funny how blogs evolve, eh? Mine started out being all about my babies. All I wrote about was them... and slowly I've crept more and more into my blog. It's still a family blog, but it's really just all my perceptions of my family and my world. I want to see the hair cut!
