That being said, somebody gave us the bassinette when Dallin was born, and it's been in storage in my parent's ginormous extra garage since then. So I decided I wanted to make new bedding to replace the old dated kinda dingy original bedding. My mom is in town to help me, fortunately, so we headed up to Portland yesterday on a fabric hunt. We went to a huge fabric store, the Fabric Depot. It was pricey, but wow, they have EVERYTHING (I thought of you, Kristin, you would LOVE it). And I LOVE the totally expensive fabric we found. So just a preview, here is the swatch:

Wow, I am going to need to make a stop there sometime. Although, I should probably stop collecting fabrics and actually make something once in a while.
