Neglect

I'm sitting back in our office, all by myself with the door closed, happily reading all of your blogs. I had a lot to catch up on, you guys have been busy!
Anyway, so I'm neglecting my child....he's out in the living room by himself doing who knows what. But whatever that may be, it's better that what he'd be doing in the office with me.
You see, when we unloaded our car when we got back from Utah, I just put it all in here and closed the door. It's been unpacked on a need basis. Which tells me I have all KINDS of things I don't need....the room is still a mess. But I've been neglecting that too. AND I'll probably keep on neglecting that, until I reach the point where I don't require a nap every afternoon when Dallin goes down for a nap.........
But I digress. The point is, I have come to the conclusion that life is a choice of neglect. You just choose to neglect one thing over the other. And now, I'm going to neglect a more informative and interesting blog and answering my email (sorry friends) to go feed my son lunch. That's probably the correct priority, right?

At this moment, I have chosen to neglect cleaning up lunch in order to:
1. Talk with my Mom for a half hour
2. Respond to emails from friends
3. Check blogs

Mind you we ate lunch at 12:30 and now it's 2:45 and I have yet to go back downstairs after putting Adam down for a nap at 1:00. I should probably go clean up before Nat gets home and thinks I do nothing all day. We wouldn't want that now would we? :)

You don't have to worry about clearing up the mess in the office until Andrea arrives in the middle of October and I will be coming at the end of October...as long as the futon is clear we can walk over anything else...can't wait for Halloween!

Don't worry about it -- I sleep on the floor on a regular basis. Just gimme a pillow and I'm good.
