It's a big moment for our family.
Yesterday, Landon was offered the summer associate position in the Business Law practice area of Strong & Hanni.
Let me just add some pertinent information: Strong & Hanni is one of the oldest law firms in Salt Lake City, Utah.
I am honestly not sure how many of you, even those very close to us, truly understand what this means to us. But let me tell you.
It means, first of all, we have a job! We can pay our bills next summer! Also, the second year summer internship is instrumental in finding a job after you graduate. In fact, many firms hire on their summer associates the following year after they have graduated.
Second, at the least it means Dallin will be able to spend the summer with his grandparents, aunts and uncles. At best, it means he will grow up close to his family.
I'm tearing up over here.
We love Eugene. I'm going to have a very difficult time leaving. But to be going home...to be able to hang out with our families and share special events with them...to see old friends on a consistent basis...to spend time in my mountains...
I'm so proud of my husband. He is an amazing man. I'm grateful for all his hard work and dedication that has helped to bring us to this point.
But I also must add, despite the risk of sounding like this blog (which I actually really really really hate, sorry guys), that we have been blessed.

Yay, yay, yay, yay, yay! You are coming back to us!! I knew you would! Well, I didn't really know, but I hoped! You can join our little play group this summer...Ambra and I are attempted to get together once a month. Congrats to Landon!
Congrats!!! That is so exciting. I am so happy for you guys that you can be close to family. I'm a little nervous that Dallin is going to be spoiled rotten though!
Ooohhh...Strong & Hanni! I most definitely know about them and that's awesome he'll be working there! And of course I'm THRILLED that you'll be home for the summer. Too bad it's like 8 months away!

That is REALLY exciting! I totally feel your excitement and hope we can be in a similar situation next year when Andrew starts looking for internships! COngrats!!

Yaya Landon! Yay Heather! Yay for you moving to SLC where it is much more likely that I will get to see you! Obviously this calls for a celebration...we need to go to happy panda, I'll go to the one here, you go in OR, Mary can go in SLC...ALMOST as good as being together again.
