Beetdiggers forever

Camilla tagged me on this one, so here goes:

1. Did you date someone from your school? Nope, I didn't date in high school. Boys didn't like me then.

2. What kind of car did you drive? 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee, candy apple red, also known as Charlie...which my parents just sold a couple weeks ago....SAD.....

3. It's Friday night...where are you? With friends, always
4. Were you a party animal? Hardly.

5. Were you considered a flirt? Nope, I was WAY too shy for that.
6. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir? Definitely not! No musical talent here!

7. Were you a nerd? Pretty nerdy.
8. Were you on any varsity teams? Nope...let's just say I wasn't involved in much....

9. Did you get suspended/expelled? Of course not, people who are good at school and nothing else don't get suspended or expelled.
10. Can you sing the fight song? Yes, and I still do everytime we drive by my high school (which isn't much since I live in Oregon now)
11. Who were your favorite teachers? Mr. Gentry, sophomore honors English and AP English senior year; Mrs. Smith, AP Art History senior year; "Val" Cazier, sophomore honors World Civ; Mr. Tilby, AP US History junior year; and Mrs. Morgan, Adult Roles senior year. And all my awesome seminary teachers, Bro. Call, Butler, Miller, and...crap, I totally don't remember his name! Who did I have for seminary sophomore year?! Anybody remember? I can tell you all kinds of things about him...he had 3 little girls, his wife was ten years younger than he was (I'm thinking Richardson....but something about that doesn't sound right), we called her as a class on her 24th birthday to sing (WOW, being 25 sure puts that into perspective), he had the classroom all the way on the northwest end of the building, and he grew up in Alaska....SOMEBODY HELP ME!

12. Where did you sit during lunch? The area of the cafeteria varied, but always with my friends and almost always in the cafeteria.

13.What was your school's full name? Jordan High School.
14. School mascot? BEETDIGGERS!!!!
15. Did you go to Homecoming and who with? I wasn't old enough my sophomore year, my junior year I went Bryan Harris, very nice guy, and my senior year I went with Brad Smith, who was a year older and actually graduated from Olympus.

16. If you could go back and do it again, would you? HECK NO! It wasn't awful, and I have lifelong friends from those days, but no way would I ever go back and do that again. Ever.

17.What do you remember most about graduation? Because I was at the slacker end of the over achievers, I wasn't in NHS (National Honor Society), and because I had no musical talent, I wasn't in Madrigals....SO, all my friends got to sit together up front, and I was somewhere in the middle, graduating with acquaintances instead of my friends.
18. Where did you go senior skip day? Ummm, guys, did we ever skip class?

19. Were you in any clubs? FCCLA, VICA, French Club

20. Have you gained some weight since then? Right now, I actually weigh less to the same as I did in high school.
21. Who was your prom date? Christopher Reed Dillon!
22. Are you planning on going to your 10 year reunion?
Mixed feelings. The people I really want to see, I already stay in touch with...those I remember from my AP classes that I'm morbidly curious about probably won't come....if I can get my friends to go to, I probably will.

I tag Michelle, Ambra, and Natalie for sure (Stace and Debs, you need a blog!), and anyone else who wants to do it!

You win the best mascot award. Also your son is adorable. And I can't believe guys didn't like you then. You have that fertile glow, remember?!

I just want you to acknowledge that your longest answer was favorite teachers, Heath. Teachers.
And ditto to Camilla's last comment. You are a gorgeous girl!! Even if the highlight of your HS experience was the education part. :)

Was it the short blonde teacher? I don't know his name, but I can remember his face...
