We’re finally settled in….

It’s been an interesting couple weeks! The road trip was L-O-N-G, our car was P-A-C-K-E-D, but Dallin was a gem.

(Random aside, that picture shows the difference between Dal's eyes really well...)

We’re here in Utah now, and things are comfortably arranged at my parents’ house.

We feel very lucky to be living someplace so beautiful – house and scenery – Dallin is living in the “grandsons” room, and Landon and I are in the “granddaughters” room. We moved some furniture around from other areas of the house, and the result is a set-up that is more than comfortable, and will be terrific for the next few months until we head back to Eugene.
The best part is that our room is at the back of the house, which means we get the amazing view…Landon says we have built-in nightlights. :)

My parents’ backyard isn’t landscaped yet, which we thought would be a bummer with Dallin. It’s not. He loves rocks, so this is his mecca.

All in all, we love Eugene, but Utah is home…and there’s nothing like home.
