Anyway, so basically I am a tired stress case right now. We're leaving for Utah for the entire summer in one week. Less than one week, actually, seeing as Thursday is nearing its end. I have so much to do, and most of it I can't do until the beginning of next week. So it is just looming over me and freaking me out in the meantime. Sigh. Lucky for me, I have a number of great friends who have offered to help me out...especially by watching Dallin (and ladies, you BETTER BELIEVE I'm going to take you up on it!). So things will be fine. They will.
Now that I've gotten that off my chest, let's talk American Idol. I've been feeling a little blasé about the show in general. I just wasn't looking forward to it as much...and rock week left me cold. I didn't love anybody. Danny left me writhing in pain, Adam was over the top, Allison was good but unremarkable, and Kris...well, he was probably my favorite, though maybe not the best. I liked the performances better watching them back. I liked the duets. They were smart to pair up Allison & Adam and Danny & Kris. Any other combination would probably have been a train wreck.
And guess what? I don't want Adam to win...and now, I'm actually afraid he might! I'm rooting for Kris now (as demonstrated by my side bar).

Oh, and also, if I look as good and can move like Paula can at 46, I will be a happy woman. DANG, she is in great shape (do you think she's had any work done? seriously, what do you think?), I had a blast watching her dance.
Now let's talk about things that make me happier. So ever since my friend Kristin posted about super cute crocheted hats on Etsy, I've been wanting one. For me. So Landon suggested that could be my Mother's Day present. :) Isn't he thoughtful. So this is the one I ordered:

This Etsy seller has some very cute things, take a look!
Last night, I was exhausted and Landon had been gone ALL day. First at school studying for finals, then volunteering at Teen Court (because he's so nice...really. My husband is one of the most unselfish people I know..not many other law students would volunteer their time like that during finals). And when he came home, he came bearing this:

Marionberry cheesecake from our favorite bakery in Eugene, Sweet Life.
Ain't I a lucky girl?

Sorry you're stressed, but I'm glad you're moving in a week! :)
