A quick shout-out....

Today is my little sister's birthday. That's right, folks, my sister IS younger than I am, she always has been, I just look young for my age. Thank you.

Anyway, so my sister Andrea turned 23 today. Just want to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY first of all.

Second of all, just want to tell you a little bit about my sister.

She is beautiful, athletic, intelligent and kind. The all-around package. She is in her second year of a doctoral program in Physical Therapy at the University of Utah...but she still bleeds blue. Her one true love at the moment is BYU football. She gets REALLY excited over it, let me tell you.

My sister is also one of my closest friends. When we were growing up, we shared a room for many years. When my dad finally finished the basement, and I moved down there, she asked if she could sleep down there with me the first night. She didn't want me to leave and our room to change! We also fought, like most siblings do, but we had some great times hanging out. We both fell in love with that Seal song from Batman Forever, you know, Kiss From a Rose? We would basically do interpretive dance together on the trampoline in our backyard to that song!

After I got married, Andrea would come over to our apartment in Provo all the time just to hang out with us. Because of that, she and Landon are pretty close, and that means a lot to me. I LOVED having her around all the time and that close relationship we had because of it. I miss that so much.

I also love that when she has Fall and Spring breaks from school, she chooses to come and spend them in Eugene with us. She's a terrific aunt to Dallin, and he thinks she's pretty cool.
